KLINE COMMONS II WAS THE SECOND PHASE OF THE KLINE COMMONS DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM. THIS SECOND PHASE OF DESIGN SOUGHT TO CREATE BETTER CONNECTIVITY ACROSS THE STUDENT CAMPUS, ALLOWING FOR EASE OF ACCESS PARTICULARLY FOR THOSE REQUIRING ASSISTANCE AS WELL AS THE USE OF WHEELCHAIRS. THE SCHEME INCORPORATED THE RE-DESIGN OF THE BARD COLLEGE BOOKSTORE, WHILE CONTINUING TO RE0IMAGINE KLINE DINING HALL AS A MORE FLEXIBLE FACILITY FOR STUDENT USE. THE PROJECT INTRODUCED THE PROGRAM OF A MARKET TO THE DINING FACILITY AND THROUGH RE-ALIGNING THE AXES ACROSS THE SITE, PROPOSED A MORE COHESIVE DAILY STUDENT EXPERIENCE.
